I agree, Maria...Tech is Asian and is cooncerned about prejudice in Kiev. On another thread (see link above), I too, spoke of Kiev's beauty and welcome. It was my dad's hometown from where he emigrated c. 1913. Our visit in 2008 was nothing but pleasant, informative and cordial.
Anyway, his concerns were all in 2009 and he never reported when he came back, so I don't know whatever happened.
