How long in Dijon and Lyon?
I will travel by TGV from Paris to Dijon, stay one night, and head the next day from Dijon to Lyon.
There is a train arriving at 9:30am and 1:00 pm in Dijon. Should I arrive on the earlier train or can I see enough of Dijon in an afternoon/evening.
Same question for Lyon. Thank you.

I don't know what day you'll be in Dijon, but if it is a Tuesday, Friday or Saturday, take the earliest one to enjoy the food market(built by Eiffel a Dijon native) in the morning (until 1pm approx). If the weather is nice, buy some food and have a picnic in Darcy garden.
With such a short time the best thing to do is to follow the "Owl's trail" to see most of the sights. http://www.travelsignposts.com/Desti...jon/?g2_page=3 Ask for the brochure at one of the TO (there is one outside the train station and one at the back of the ducal palace). Musée des Beaux Arts is a must see and if you have time, also Magnin museum and the Burgundian life museum. Definitely take an early train!
