How long have you been a Fodorite?

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but...

Some of the recent posts make clear that many Fodorites have a "history" with one other, which led me to wonder, how long have you all been posting here?

I guess I am a relative newbie, having been here since November or December 2002..

How about you?

Just a few days! It has been most helpful so far. I have noticed that a few people seem a bit, how shall I say it, high-strung perhaps? But most people seem very friendly

Started reading posts in February of 2001, and began to post regularly probably in May of that year.

January, 2003, (just before registration) is the time in which I became addicted. The information has been priceless.

Winter of 2001 is about the time that I became a Fodoholic, as well. I think I was a bit too intimidated to post back then, but gathered so many great ideas as I was planning our 6-week, 4-country family sabbatical (Germany, France, UK, Ireland). Now I'm noodling on a June 2005 Italy trip and am back at it. When I disappear for hours at a time, my husband says "Oh, she's probably just Fodorizing." Totally engrossing, but it's hell trying to get any work done Thanks to all the experienced travelers who have provided so much valuable insight!

P.S. Welcome Texas Aggie. I'm a Longhorn

... a "history" you say, oh goodness, if this site were only half as lurid as that suggests. are there keyboard marriages do you suppose? I know there have been some divorces, and falling outs, lol, you can hear the occasional impact of pots and pans. fortunately there is life for most outside the site. so keep posting, you too can acquire a patina.

Thanks, blacktie, for your sarcasm and insight, but you did not answer the question. How long have you been posting here?

I started reading and posting in fall of 2000. I came here in an unsuccessful attempt to get info re traveling in Basilicata. Then I stayed, obviously.
