How far from Haarlem train station to river boat docks?

We are staying in Amsterdam for four days before joining a Grand Circle River cruise which will be docked in Haarlem. It looks like Haarlem is an easy train ride from Amsterdam, but how long a walk is the Haarlem train station from where the the river boats are docked?

On another note--any interesting moderately priced Amsterdam restaurants in the Museum area? Thanks!

Where do they dock? You can look it up for yourself on google maps.

Confusingly the link in the Haarlem city website to Google Maps shows the cruiseport as permanently closed.

Do they give you an address? I assume it is on the Spaarne orb the North Sea Canal to avoid docking in Amsterdam with it's increased fees and reduced capacity.

Either way it is likely to be some distance from the station, but without knowing where you are boarding it is hard to say how far a walk it would be.

I' m assuming it' s somewhere along Spaarndammerweg, close to where the river Spaarne joins the Noordzeekanaal. In any case: it's not close to the station, not within walking distance. Can you find out from your itinerary where their ships dock?

That is the terminal in Amsterdam. OP says their cruise leaves from Haarlem.

Brasserie Keyzer. It's a famous institution of the arts. Do book though. The food is OK, and the place is as genteel/cultured Dutch as it gets. They do French brasserie classics

Yep. I took the advice to "look it up" and found a cruiser forum where the question was about where the same cruise as OP docked. That address was given for the cruise a year or two or three ago. So I threw that out there given your mention of the one Haarlem port maybe is closed. Plus, I was bored, annoyed by the first reply, and stayed in Haarlem one time.

I get it mrwunrfl, but I think Amsterdam have been moving such cruises away as part of their attempts at reducing the tourist load.
Until OP comes back with more info we can't help further. I assume they have been given an address for where to meet their boat.
It was very odd that the official Haarlem city council page had a link to Google Maps, but the map said the terminal was permanently closed. The only other place there was information needed a log in, which I don't have. However if it really is leaving from Haarlem it won't be close to the station.

Haarlem boat dock

Thanks, everyone. I just found out that if we meet our group at the Amsterdam airport, they will bus us directly to the Haarlem port, so no worries. They didn't offer this option before now.
