You may want to do a search "self catering" to find other sites and/or individual properties.<BR><BR>My wife and I returned from Ireland last month. Among other accommodations we rented three houses - each met our needs.<BR><BR>We found that the rental period is typically Sunday through Saturday, or 'short breaks' of two/three days that do not overlap the typical week period.<BR><BR>Pricing was based on the season, length of time, and how many people the facility can accommodate. We found weekly prices from $250 - $600 for two people all inclusive (linens, towels, heat, electricity etc).<BR><BR>One criteria we used to select candidates was to give priority to properties that excluded smoking, pets and young children (not that we have anything againest any of the above). We thought this would indicate upscale properties that are well maintained.<BR><BR>We were very pleased. Have fun in Ireland, it is super.<BR><BR>

B&B's go for about $20-25 per person per night. Compare that to what you would pay for the self catering. <BR><BR>We rented in Scotland and the electricity was billed separately. I was looking at a french site last night and noticed that they had a set amt of electricty included in the rent with the excess being billed

The websites in the first message are good. Also self catering cottages. We have been renting houses in Ireland, England and Wales for the last 7 years and have never been disappointed. In Ireland we rented a house in Rosseveal (sp?) in Connemerra, Galway and it was wonderful, 4 bedrooms 2 baths for approx. $300 for Saturday to Saturday, pay attention to the metered heat and electricity this was our first experience and it was tricky at first. Have lots of pound coins handy.
