hotels in St. Tropaz or Nice

hi everyone,
I made a mistake and first posted this in the U.S. I've booked a hotel in Provence for 7 days. For the end of my trip in which I will have a car any ideas about a base in the Cote d'Azur. I want to leave the car off a day before I fly from Nice early in the morning to CDG. I'll have 6 days left. I'm not sure if I want to spend all 6 days based in Nice, or split it up between St.Tropaz and Nice. Any suggestions. Also any suggestions about transportation to Nice's airport for a 6:15 a.m.flight to CDG. Thanks.
Nick

Parking a car in Nice my be a problem,
but...
It is worth visiting places near Nice ( Cannes, Antibe, Eze, Monaco, Menton, , Grass - to name a few). There is a good bus or train service from Nice to many of the mentioned spots.
There is also a lot to do and see in Nice.
I am not familiar with St. T but 6 days in Nice ( with side trips) is not too long.
Best to take a taxi for your early flight ( 30-35 euros) .

We stay at the Windsor in Nice, and the last time we stayed in St Tropez, we stayed at the Lices.

If you're planning to visit St Tropez anytime between now & about the third week of Sept, you might have troulbe finding a hotel his late.

Nice & St Tropez would give you a nice "mix" of the Cote d'Azur.

In case you Google to find hotels, it's Tropez not Tropaz.

I've stayed at the Hotel Le Grimaldi in Nice several times and like it very much. The rooms are nice, the location is good and the staff is among the best anywhere.
