Hotel Recommendations in Rome

Hello. I'm looking for recommended hotels near Piazza Navona in Rome. There will be 6 of us so we'll need 3 rooms. We are traveling the first week in September. Ideally, we'd like to spend less than 200 Euro per room. However, we'd be willing to pay more if the location was very good. Thanks!!

I've stayed at the Hotel Portoghesi near P. Navona and thought it was a good value, and a great location. It should be under your budget.

My favorite is the Hotel Modigliani, on a quiet street (via della Purificazione) not far from the Spanish Steps.

Very near Piazza Navona and very reasonable is Residenza Canali ai Coronari. We enjoyed our stay.

Another vote for Residenza Canali. It's just a stone's throw from Piazza Navona, and yet very quiet. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay there; the staff handled our airport transport and were very friendly. Nice breakfast too!

Thanks! Palazzo Olivia looks great, unfortunately they require a 4 night minimum. I've contacted the others to see if there is availability.

In early June we stayed at the Hosianum Palace. The cost was 185 EURO a night double (including a very good breakfast). It is in a quiet location, near the Piazza Venetia, Capitaline Hill, Victor Emmanuel Monument, Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. In a few minutes you can walk to all the sites and the 64 bus just steps away goes to the Vatican. Our main reason for choosing the hotel was its central location and its roof garden. The interior of the hotel is very new, but it retains its 16thC ambience. The website gives a very good idea of the hotel - www.hosianum.com . The hotel is wonderful and I recommend it highly.
