Just in case you haven't searched yet on this forum ,here are the past posts on Hotel Paris...

Message: We just got back from Florence and we stayed in the Hotel Paris on Via dei Banchi between the train station and the Duomo. It is a 3 star hotel. Very large rooms and we thought it was a good value. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms recently renovated and clean. If you wish you can get a breakfast (although not the greatest). We had a quad room (one full bed and two twins)and it cost us 400,000 lira (with breakfast for the four of us) per night, about $200.

Message: We just visited Florence and stayed at the Hotel Paris. Just renovated, the rooms were nicely decorated (high ceilings) with modern, smaller bathrooms (shower only). It's important to request a quiet room if you're bothered by street noise; some rooms with a view of Florence's rooftops are on a busy street, and Florence is a very noisy city (vespas, buses etc.). Hotel Paris is conveniently located and we had no problem in Florence.

Message: Going to Florence in June; 2 years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Paris, an excellent experience.

Hi there-
I loved tht Paris Hotel. Stayed there almost two years ago. Old,just like the city which adds to the whole wonderful Florence experience. Clean, large and my bathroom was huge! Frescoes on the ceiling in the breakfast room. Book it - you won't be disappointed. Enjoy Florence and if you are looking for a good restaurant - try Osteria del Cinghale Bianco - excellent food and great waiters!
