I have. My wife & I stayed there a couple years ago. Had a great time. Just bear in mind this place is not in town...not in Chinon, and not even in the town of its mailing address, Beaumont-en-Veran. It's in the country, in the middle of vineyards. Do not try to find it for the first time at night! The owner is very hospitable, and speaks English very well...which is not as common as you might imagine in that region. Room was comfortable and roomy. A good 3* value overall!<BR><BR>It makes a great base for exporing the region (including Chinon), but you will need a car. Also, be sure to ask about renting bikes...great flat terrain all around, and quaint old villages.
