Hotel Muguet

We Have reservations at the Muguet for the 1st week in Jan. We will not be arriving until early evening 6 or 7:00. Is there a chance that they may give away our room? Is the Muguet a reputable Hotel and not leave us out in the cold for one night? I ask this question because I have read horror (similar) stories on this forum.

Muguet is highly reputable. Let them know what time you expect to arrive.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay there in 2000, but unfortunately they were booked this summer when we visited Paris again. Just send an e-mail and tell them you'll arrive late. We e-mailed back and forth a number of times. A phone call went well also. The woman who answered the phone let me speak with the manager when I asked if she spoke English. It's in a convenient and quiet location. Have fun!

Haven't stayed at the Muguet, but at other Parisian hotels. We too were arriving late after a train journey and emailed our hotel to let them know we'd arrive after 9 p.m. The hotel sent a reply email confirming that our room would be held. Yes, you should contact the hotel directly either by phone or email. I think it's only some hotels are not reputable and would give rooms away, most are highly reputable.

Stayed at Muguet in summer 2001.
Just communicate with them & let them know your arrival time, and you will not have any problem at all.

We informed them of our late arrival to begin with. But our train from Brussells was over an hour late & we didn't get to the hotel until after 10pm. When we arrived, the person working the front opened the door & checked us in.

Enjoy Paris.
chris

I am just back from Paris last night and stayed in the Muguet. We arrived late on Sat (9ish) and there was no problem. In my initial mail I stated we would arrive late and I e-mailed again 2 days before with the time to confirm and they confirmed by e-mail. It's a quiet location and nice restaurants nearby. The hotel is spotlessly clean and everyone was very professional I delt with. I will post about my trip later today.

Enjoy!

It is a very nice hotel with high standards for cleanliness and furnishings. I was AMAZED at how clean the bathrooms were and how quiet the evenings were. No street noise at all. We were very pleased with our stay there in Oct and will definitely stay there again.
