Saw the Lutetia several years ago.It is beautiful; very art deco, historic, ornate. It is affiliated with a good French hotel chain: Concorde and is rather expensive as well.

Lutetia is a luxury class hotel in the traditional sense in the 6th arr.. There are about 200 plus rooms with a double about 1900 F or $320 US per day.

The Lutetia hotel is a good hotel but is situated at a crossroad with heavy traffic, so be sure to request a quiet room, maybe on the back of the building. Its location makes it ideal for shopping and sightseeing.

My family and I stayed at the Lutetia during the spring two years ago and loved it. The hotel is grand and the staff most friendly and helpful. Be sure and buy one of their cups and saucers. There is a great outdoor cafe across the street that is a great location for people watching.

We stayed there two years ago with our sons and enjoyed it. Very convenient and near metro stop. The rooms are all different - even though we paid the same rate, our son's room was quite different from ours, although both were very nice and comfortable. Plenty of English speaking staff to help us and the concierge staff was very helpful.
