You might try searching under the hotel name in the site's search engine. there have been comments in the past, all of which i believe were favorable. I booked the hotel Julia based upon those comments, and I also booked the Due Torri and when I asked for opinions as to which one I should take, I got one nasty comment, and then nothing else

We stayed at the Julia a few years ago, and it was acceptable. Nothing fancy, but fairly priced and well located.

I just returned from Rome and Florence two days ago and stayed at Domus Julia. This is the apartments next door to the Hotel Julia and operated by the hotel. The location is excellent and the hotel is clean and nice. The only problem we had was a flooding bathroom which was not able to be repaired. They were also very uncooperative in crediting us for this inconvience. This obviously was an isolated event so I would probably recommend the hotel over all. It is about 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. An easy walk to the Forum and an easy bus ride to the Vatican. Great restaurant on that street (Hostelia Romana) but make reservations becuase it is really popular but a great value.

I stayed at the Hotel Julia in January and was pleased with my accommodations. For single accommodations, 6 nights, with bath, they offered me a rate of 135,000 Lit. per night. The room was small (of course) but comfy and modern, with a good-sized double bed, TV, nice-sized bathroom, and those wonderful large windows with big wooden shutters. I couldn't have been happier with the location; the Via Rasella, behind the Quirinale, is a fairly quiet side street but just steps from everything, with the Trevi Fountain about five minutes' walk. <BR>
