Rates tend to be pretty date specific so when could make a difference. There is an Ibis not far from the station -- they are a reliably budget chain. Otherwise maybe go to Booking.com and plug in your dates and see what comes up. You are talking approx. 165 Swiss Francs.

As janisj suggested, I strongly encourage you to check booking.com -- you can specify dates, price range, location, and many other elements. FWIW, the Hotel St. Josef (which I found satisfactory and which still gets favorable reviews) was among the lowest priced options on my long ago trip to Zurich -- and even so, it might be outside your price range. BUT as janisj noted, dates matter!
Enjoy your time in Zurich -- a greatly underrated city, IMO!

Rates at the St. Josef are now mostly in the 180 franc to 240 franc range. Given the exchange rate, that's above $200 per night. The OP might need to adjust their budget slightly to 200 CHF instead of 200 USD. However it does have rates as low as 160 CHF per night on certain week-ends in October, November, December. and even a few drops to 150 CHF in January 2026, all with breakfast included. (note: if the OP means Singapore or Canadian dollars, the exchange rate is even worse). This Ibis Styles (the closest Ibis to the main train station) is ok but rooms don't come with a minibar, so the OP has to bring any snacks/beverages with them or buy them at the hotel. (I stayed there nearly 20 ago when it was a Sofitel)
Depending on the OP's dates and flexibility of budget, they might find a special at a higher end hotel. We go to Zurich for the week-end every other month and stay at the Sheraton. With our Marriott Bonvoy membership, we can get a nice double for about 250 francs (although we usually get an executive room for about 300 francs); a very good breakfast is included. A single room might be even closer to the OP's budget if they have a Bonvoy membership and book a pre-paid, nonrefundable room. Although it's not within walking distance to the main train station, a number 4 tram stop is right outside the hotel and that will take them to the train station (no changes) in about 10 minutes.
