Is this the Hotel Ibis Porte de Clichy that is in Paris? If so, it's formerly known as Frantour Paris Berthier and is located at 163 Bis Avenue De Clichy (17th District / Right Bank). <BR> <BR>I've never stayed there, but it just seems a little big and a little soulless. <BR> <BR>"Modern hotel located on the right bank. This 700 room, economical hotel offers simple, clean, and spacious accommodations. It has four restaurants, 1 bar with billiards room, 2 ball rooms, fitness club, heated indoor pool and underground parking. Easy access to all main attractions via the nearby Metro." <BR> <BR>If this is not the same hotel you're concerned about, maybe you could provide a city?

It would be very far from any of the central sites. And being an Ibis would be clean (probably) and pedestrian. None of the Ibis hotels in Paris are very central but there is one not far from the Bastille for one closer to sites.

Don't know the hotel, but do know the location and would not recommend it. Also know the IBIS chain and yes, it will be big and comfortable but with little charm.

It's one of the few hotels in Paris with a pool, and an indoor pool at that. Families who insist on hotels with pools for kids when they travel would have a reason for staying there, otherwise I can't see it just because it's a very large modern ordinary hotel on the outskirts. Despite its amenities (pool, bar, restaurant) I think the rooms are pretty basic and ordinary, not at a higher level like you might think.
