Hotel Help for Siena/Milan/Florence
Hi!
Can anyone provide information on hotels for four people to stay at in Milan/Florence or Siena that would not be too pricey (under 150E) but would be clean and close to sights.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Carly

In Siena Palazzo Bruchi would fit your requirements. I believe you can goggle them for their website and make reservations on the Internet. If you do stay there, make sure to check out "the secret garden" behind the gate (where it says "keep out"--it's magical). Also, have capaccino at the nearby cafe--Cafe Antica--nearby (breakfast comes with the room, but it's not eatable.)

Artlover- Thank you for your recommendation. Would this hotel be accessible by train? We were not planning on renting a car. Also, do you have any recommendations for Milan or Florence?
Thank you for your help.

In Florence, try the Residenza Il Villino. It's a small, charming B&B near the Duomo and the Accademia. Owners are wonderful and provide great service. Rooms are attractive, comfortable and spotless and it has a lovely little courtyard garden. Florenceby.com/villino

Carly, I'm sure that you will get alot of info on hotels especially for Florence. We just stayed at the A Teatro B&B in Florence and loved it. We had a triple and the room was huge. The bathroom was also very large by european standards. They also have a lift and are within a 5 min. walk to all of the sights.

skidmoc,
We didn't have a car, but it's better to get to Siena by buy from Florence. The hotel was a bit of a walk from the bus stop, but you could get a cab if you're traveling with a lot of luggage (I suggest you travel light). We walked and it wasn't a problem, but our daughter was studying there and she helped with the luggage, but you could probably manage on your own if you're in halfway decent shape.
