Hotel for 5
i am taking my3daughters and one of their friends to London and Paris in June. I am looking at hotels that offer a triple and twin accomodations. Some of my choices are the Byron, Windermere, and Blakemore. Have any other ideas? Thanks for your help.

The three in my group just returned from these cities (among others). We had three in a room in London, and the Sofitel/paris gave us two rooms. Should not be a problem for you to find accomodations for 3/2 in those cities, as i think that booking 2 rooms will solve that problem, especially if you can book rooms with a queen/king bed and add a twin rollaway. I should add that we booked a globus tour, which made hotel arrangements as part of the package.

We had a very nice apartment in London last June through Acorn rentals. It was a vacant student apartment with two bedrooms (five twin beds total), washer/dryer, TV, and kitchen. All for a little over $125 a night. See the booklet called "City Apartments" from the BTA and book early for June.

I'm with Anna on the apartment; there are several 'apartotels' in Paris as well as services for private apartments. Ditto in London; some you can rent for as little as 3 nights. It gives you room to spread out (living room, sometimes a terrace) and if someone can't sleep, a room to go to and not disturb others. With the refrigerator, you can keep water and Coke nice and cold - you will appreciate this, believe me. <BR>If you want to stay in a hotel, then most every hotel has triples - some even have 'suites' (two rooms with a small sitting area in between) that work well for 4 or more people. PBA, there is usually just one bathroom....
