Hotel close to bus route 72
Hi All,
I see many Paris hotels mention that they are near bus route 72, but when I look at the ratp website the hotels are often not really close. I will be attending some training classes during the last two weeks of September, and the classes are along route 72. If someone recalls a hotel that is actually close to the route I would appreciate the info. Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan,
I found this in Fodors of all places LOL..but it might be helpful since that is where there are a fair amount of hotels.
If the bus route is where I think it is, the map is hard for me to read, a possibility might be the Hotel Lutece on the Ille St Louis.
We don't take buses that often in Paris so I don't know the numbers and routes, but someone will do doubt answer soon, there are quite a few Paris experts here
Lucky you, attending classes in Paris!
The No. 72 bus follows the Seine from the Hôtel de Ville west past the Louvre and most of the big-name Rive Droite sights, also giving you views of the Rive Gauche, including the Tour Eiffel.

Hi danros, when you post a thread on the Europe Forum it gets dumped into the Europe Board. Confusing I know! As I understand it if the title of the thread has something about France in the title and if a person clicks on France on the search feature then only the threads regarding France will show up. But am pretty sure most people here do not use that search feature. They just click onto the Europe Board and scroll through the threads and click on the ones they are interested in. Best wishes.

Paris is an easy city to navigate. The hotels along that route may be more expensive than other parts of Paris as that is where many tourist sights are. Perhaps this is of no consequence to you but if it is, you might explore other areas and the transport to your class site.

Sofitel La Faubourg (15, rue Boissy d'Anglas) is close to a 72 bus stop. But what's your budget?

Rooms go fast! I got into the Hôtel Louvre Rivoli the second week (23 Sep - 1 Oct) and now have to find a place for the first week. Regarding budget, the hotel that my company travel agent booked is 148 euro a night, I always like to find something cheaper. Hôtel Louvre Rivoli is 125 euro a night. The company travel agent could not find one hotel for the two weeks either, and split me between two places in Boluogne Billancourt (that is where the class is). I am figuring that I will want to go toward the Louvres after class anyway so I may as well stay down there and have less travelling to do when it is time to go home for the night. I will keep searching, and thanks all for your suggestions!

I am waiting to hear back from:
