Hotel Ambassador, Nice info

Has anyone stayed at or have contact information for the Hotel Ambassador, 8 Avenue de Suedé in Nice? We're trying to contact the hotel directly by email but can't find an email address on any site. We'll have to call if all else fails. Thanks for any help.

Here's the U.S. toll-free information number for the hotel:

1 800 742 6081

The hotel isn't in the 2003 red Michelin Guide, which is the best source for e-mail addresses. However, telephoning or faxing usually gets a quicker response.

I can't imagine any hotel not having email access by now. I contacted the 800 phone # you listed and they referred me to switchboard.com. Unfortunately this is an email info site for the US only (but I did save it on my favorite list). We sent a fax the other day but still no reply.

Any more info will help. Has anyone stayed here?

Underhill, thank you for trying.

Actually, not all French hotels have e-mail access, and even if they do for some reason e-mail isn't the favored method of communication in all cases--which is why I recommend telephoning or, better yet, faxing IF you can find a number. I've noticed that few general travel web sites incorporating many hotels are not overly anxious to give you numbers for contacting the hotels directly.

The "not" in that last sentence shouldn't have been there.

OK, here's how to get info for France: www.voila.fr which is a French web portal with a French search function. I put in "Hotel Ambassador" Nice and got their website: http://ambassador-hotel-nice.com/

It lists address, phone, fax, and email and, if you click on the Brit flag, will change into English.

Voila!!
