stayed at the lenox about 8 years ago, and while it's a bit of a walk from a metro, it's pleasant and worth it. Some of the bathroom arrangements are a bit weird, however, so be sure to ask for a room that has both toilet and bath in the same bathroom! (the friends who traveled with us had a room with toilet at one end, bath and sink separated elsewhere in the room-both enclosed but in different spots).

Thanks for the info! I marked it off my list! Now I need to decide between the Sully Saint Germain, the Abbatial St. Germain and the Parc Severin. Do you know them?

Stayed at Abbatial and it was great. Ask for room 55 - fabulous! In fact, planning on returning in July.

The Abbatial St. Germain is a very nice place. I stayed there last year and loved it. A nice walk to Notre Dame or the Boul St. Michel.

I'm sorry, Rita, I forgot to add that the Hotel Abbatial St. Germain is just a couple blocks from a metro stop.
