Honfleur -- Possible to go by train from Paris?

I will be in Paris in early March. I am thinking of going to Honfleur for one or two days, but I really don't want to deal with renting a car this trip.

Is it possible to go by train from Paris to Honfleur and feasible to spend a day or two there without a car? I suspect that once in town I won't need transportation, but need to get there first.

As far as I can tell from the DB site the answer is no.

I checked the SNCF site and for Paris - Honfleur, it says that it would require more than 2 changes - not quite sure what that means. However, you can go from Paris (Gare St. Lazare) to the Deauville-Trouville station in about 2 hrs. From there I'm sure you could either get a bus to Honfleur or just take a taxi. It's only about 15 km.

There's no train station there, so I think Betty's advice is the best. You don't need a car if you just want to see Honfleur but it isn't that big, you might not want two days there. There are buses from Deauville (bus vert du Calvados) and LeHavre (the latter is an express, I don't know the differences in time or cost). I think this is the URL: www.busverts14.fr There used to be a rail station in Honfleur from what I've read, don't know why it disappeared. A taxi from LeHavre might
