Honeymoon in October
Hi,
After 4 years, my boyfriend proposed me (and I said yes) in december. I think we will get married in october or november, 2005.
For our honeymoon, I want to go to a romantic destination.
The place must be quite , serene and at the same time near natural, historical, and cultural places that we can visit.
I have two questions;
1. Together we have been to some parts of europe (england, italy, greece) and states (nyc,vegas, orlando). Last year, he went to norway and absolutely loved it. Now, he wants to go to nordick countries (fyords) for our honeymoon. But I am not quite sure if it is ok to go to norway/sweden or finland in october or november.
Anyone experienced nordick countries in october ? Any particular places (cities) that you can suggest?
2. Any recommendations in europe rather than nordic countries?
Thanks

I vote for the Cook Islands. Fly to New Zealand, hang a left. It's waaaaay out there. I'm sure the weather will be fabulous. Flights only come in and leave on Mondays. Lovely.
Skip the Nordic countries that time of year, unless you like cold rain/snow.
I'm sure Bali would be lovely too, but not as quiet as the Cooks.
