Honeymoon in Greece?

We are thinking of planning our honeymoon for next September in Greece? We'd love any suggestions or tips.

Hi, Darla-- Check some earlier postings by Bob the Navigator about the town of Oia (pronounced EEE-ah) on the island of Santorini. This is the gorgeous, blue and white town you see in posters. Other places in Greece I find romantic-- The town of Nafplio in the Peloponnese. Near there, the island of Spetse. And the almost-island of Monemvasia, just off the coast of the Peloponnese. If you go there, be sure to stay in one of the hotels in the ancient, stone buildings on the rock itself. Hope you have a great trip! Martha

My wife and I just honeymooned all over the Mediterranean. I strongly suggest Santorini.

We took an "island hopping" tour through Triaena tours in August. 1 night Athens, 3 nights Mykonos, 4 nights Santorini - they take care of all flights (between islands too) + transfers. Stayed at Kivotos Club in Mykonos & Perivolas in Santorini (Oia)- both wonderful & romantic for a honeymoon, although there are many other hotel choices (& island choices too) according to price range. <BR>

Absolutely Santorini. We just spent our honeymoon there and stayed in the honeymoom suite at Dameia Palace Hotel which actually was a windmill. Unforgettable!!
