Even if something is overrated it don't mean it ain't very very nice. Sometimes nice places are so hyped that they are impossible to fulfill the huge hype - Paris is not all roses and has its warts - Asians who I know thought Paris was filthy - to me that may have been true years ago but not nice - no more than any other European city outside of Scandinavia, Switzerland and Germany that is. But that is a stereotype that is fulfilled in their minds.
