Honeymoon in Corsica - Advice on Itinerary, Costs etc
Dear Fodor Friends,
My fiancee and I are considering Corsica for our honeymoon. The dates we are considering are 9/28 (departure NYC) through 10/8. I have read through the trip reports etc, but am looking for some specific advice/reccs on the following:
- Could we do this trip on $3500 (two people; not incl airfare) ?
- We would like to explore Corsica and perhaps combine it with a visit to the south of France, or a few days in Italy. We don't want to overdo it but would like to add one or two other locales to our itinerary. A recommended itinerary would be welcome!
- Any recommendations on the best flight strategy from NYC?
- Any recommendations of travel agents or local or tour coordiantors who could help us build our itinerary? We want to create a unique trip but are lacking time and know-how of the region . . .
