Honeymoon in Capri?

My fiance and I are thinking of honeymooning in Capri. I would be interested in hearing others' experiences and if they think this would be a nice place to go. Pros? Cons? Thanks.

Capri is absolutely beautiful. Depending upon how long you'll be there you may want to get in some time in Sorrento and the Amalfi coast.
Sorrento is 20-30 minutes by boat. The famous Amalfi coast bus ride can be taken from Sorrento.
We've been to Capri 5 times, and it may be the most magical place we've ever been to. We usually stay at the Luna...great hotel..beautiful views. I couldnt think of a better choice for a honeymoon.

Thanks for the info. Where would you recommend flying into?

Hello JL,

Flying into Naples (Capodichino) is the most convenient. Flying into Rome may be cheaper.

Steve

We would recopmmend staying at the Casa Morgano - no restaurant but not a problem, and fantastic quiet yet convenient location.

Most of the classy hotels on the island are run by the same family it would appear, but they know how to run a hotel.
