Hiking in Slovenia in early May

I will be in Slovenia in early May for around 10 days.

I'll spend the first 5 days kayaking and hiking from Bovec in the Soca valley.

I am trying to work out a plan for the final 5 days. Is there going to be accessible day hikes from the Bohinj area. Or am I best sticking to Lake Bled and perhaps also visiting Ljubljana. Are there other options I should conisder?

I'm aware there will still be snow high up, so want to be realistic about what will be available hiking wise.

Thanks for your help.
