Loved it! I can't wait to return to the Musee D'Orsay after reading about Manet and the rest of the impressionists.

Actually, I'm not an art wonk (whatever that means...) I just enjoy history.

amwosu---have you read &quot;Is Paris Burning?&quot; That book greatly enhanced my appreciation of Paris.

Thanks enzian. I haven't read it. I'm actually burning to get to Paris so its a perfect fit.

Ah, but the movie is no good compared to the book---they left out a lot, expecially the political intrigue.

We tried to find the &quot;original&quot;, where everyone speaks their own language (French, German, and English), but were unsuccessful.
