Help with turkey in Oct or November 2024

Hello

me and a friend wanna do Istanbul and bodrum for ten days in end of October or end of November (20-30th), would both months be ideal?? Could you please suggest hotels with sea view in Bodrum and hotels in taksiem square in Istanbul? Also will bodrum bars be shut in nov? Want to definitely not miss out on the bar scenes in both places.
all suggestions and help in planning are appreciated.

Here's a good source for climate data: https://weatherspark.com/

Sorry, I can't help with your other questions.

End October is no longer beach season. Last automn was rather sunny and warm there, but it may rain during days too.
Many artists and expats live at Bodrum all the year round

For the weather I'd say; mild weather in Istanbul makes sightseeing pleasant, while Bodrum is still warm, Istanbul will be cooler but great for exploration. Bodrum, however, will be quieter, with many bars and clubs closing by mid-November.

From my experience, I highly recommend staying at the Amiral Palace Boutique Hotel in the Sultanahmet district. It’s perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in Istanbul’s cultural and historic sites like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, while still being close enough to Taksim for nightlife. They offer a combination of comfort and has great access to key landmarks.
