The Trocadero in the evening is the best place to see the Eiffel tower light up. The most fun too.
To see Paris without standing in line, go to the Tour Montparnasse. €10.50 for a view from the 59th floor.
Restaurants: there are sooooooo many to choose from. Don't make a list. It will only confuse.
The museum Carnavalet was very good. No lines and free of charge.
The hop on hop off bus is very good.
I really liked the Pere Lachaise cemetary. Creepy but interesting. Tell her to get a map before she goes in.
The Louvre pyramid at sunset is also worthwhile to see. Not many people and the pyramid lights up a bit.
