janisj - your inputs have been invaluable! many many thanks. I see you're so active in other threads as well, so fodor's has to thank you a lot for making this forum what it is. I'm from Manila, Philippines (if ever you're planning to come to this side of the world, I hope to be of help!), so reading the various threads about Scotland was so useful in planning this trip.

Will add your suggestions then we'll be pretty much done

Happy to help. As you can see, I'm pretty passionate about the UK in general and Scotland in particular. Have a great trip.

Have never been to the Philippines -- but one of my close friends is a filipina -- does that count
