we just got back from italy and we had a wonderful trip (thanks to everyone's help on this forum), but on our way back, one of the souvenirs we purchased had broken. i have the name of the store from the receipt, but there is no phone number or email address to contact them for a replacement that i could purchase. i was wondering if anyone knows how to find this particular store's contact information?

maybe contact the tourist office in that town, they might have a list of local biz like a chamber of commerce.

How about phoning international directory enquiries or accessing italian directory on the web?

i actually have the name of the store which is called Soffiato Ivano on Dorsoduro 1188 in Venice.

garyt, if you write a letter to this store you will probably get a better response than if you emailed them as Italians seem to take correspondence via the mails and than next faxes more seriously than emails.
