Help with Florence-Across the River

Looking for quaint area across the river to stay 4 nights. We have been numerous times and stayed in busy areas of Florence.
Would like a more relaxing visit in nice accommodations.
I ve seen Oltrono recommended.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks!

I stayed at the Palazzo Guicciardini about 4-5 years ago. It is a small, quiet hotel in the Oltrarno, great location. My room was enormous and beautiful. Note that the hotel entrance is not on the ground floor. I can't recall if there is an elevator.

Wonderful website with car assistance.
Not sure how you initially get in the ZTLs?

Check out Hotel David, Oltrarno area -- lovely! We will be there in October for 4 lovely nights.

Out in the country, with a car, 20 minutes from Florence is Villa Monteoriolo, a fantastic agriturismo, if you want outside the city.
