Help! Spain Itinerary
We are headed to Spain with our 4 and 6-year old boys for 5 weeks next mid May to mid June. We are going to Madrid, Seville, Ronda (villa for week), Granada.
We'd love recommendations on where we might spend the next 4-5 days after Granada before heading flying to Barcelona for 3 days. Following our stay in Barcelona we are taking a cruise for 12 nights to Italy/Greece, then back to the U.S.
Thanks for the ideas!

If you were driving I'd suggest you head north to the Rioja, Alta and Alavesa, for a couple of days in the wine region and then follow the road east through Zaragoza.
If you are flying out of Granada, then you will have to stay in the same general area, possible heading down to the coast.

Pop down to the Costa del Sol, the south coast of Spain. Lots of nice little towns, beaches, Gibraltar. Even a day trip to Morocco. For me, a day in Ronda would be more than enough.
Note. All Spanish roads tend to be packed with traffic, and you have some quite big distances to cover, some on single lane roads. Like the US, Spain has toll roads. The tolls aren't that expensive but are annoyingly regular. Buy yourself a good road map.

Hi, I recently made an itinerary for Spain visiting the cities Madrid, Barcelona and Santander. Some sites I would recommend are La Cibeles, Palacio Real, Museo Nacional del Prado, ZAS (shopping) in Madrid, Port Olimpic in Madrid and more. There are also some good dining places (too many to list). Feel free to checkout the full itinerary here: "triptie .com/plan/161/spain-for-travelers" ...there are some trip plans for greece and italy as well, hope this helps.
