Help on Tuscan sights needed please!

We will be in Florence May 31 and leaving June 5th. We will be obviously seeing the main sights in Florence and am not overly impressed with what I have read on Pisa but would like to see at least San Gim and Siena. Any suggestions? And do you think we could spend a whole day at either of these cities? Thanks fodorites for all your help.

San Gimignano is good for a few hours at most. It is tiny, though thronging with tourists.

Haven't been to San Gim but I think Siens can keep you busy for a full day.
