Help needed re accommodation in Florence
Can anyone recommend quality budget/mid-range accommodation in Florence? I am leaning towards Bed and Breakfast style accommodation, but will happily take advice on hotels as well. I am from Australia and the exchange rate between the Aussie dollar and the Euro at the moment puts a lot of hotel rates out of my price range.

Hi PW,
We will be staying at the B&B Peterson. http://www.bedinflorence.it/
Haven't been there yet, but Mrs Ancillotti has been very helpful and very nice.
About 40E/nite.

Hi PW30:
We are staying at the Hotel Dali (www.hoteldali.com) in Sept. Like ira, we haven't stayed at this hotel either, but it was recommended to us by a friend AND is favorably reviewed on www.eurocheapo.com. In addition, the owner/operator, Samanta, has been a pleasure to deal with. We're paying €75/night for a double w/ bath.
Good luck,
Jennie
