Help, Need a Reasonably Priced hotel in Nice for next week!

Does anyone know of a charming, reasonably priced hotel in Nice. We don't have a car and will need to rely on bus/train transpo. Thanks!

Haven't stayed there yet but I booked a room at the Bleu Marine Victoria based on guidebook recommendations and its inclusion in the Michelin red book. Centrally located with a pretty garden, rooms have a/c, tv, etc. My single was $75/night and I booked over Travelocity. Good luck

Last June we stayed in Hotel de la Mer (450 FF, if I remember correctly). A decent centrally located hotel with private baths, one block from the beach. <BR>I guess it doesn't qualify as charming, but the location is great and the price is right. I can give you a telephone or fax number, email me at [email protected].

I highly recommend the Hotel Windsor. It's not on the Promenade des Anglais, but about 3 blocks away. The rooms were great, they have a pool & courtyard from where you can have breakfast. You can walk anywhere in central Nice. I also stayed at the Westminister Concorde which is on the Promenade des Anglais, which is much more expensive and didn't have the charm of the Windsor. Good luck!
