Myrtle: You are visiting London at what should be an ideal time. As you most probably know the UK weather is extremely unpredictable, but I always think May is one of our best months. If you are lucky (especially with it being the last week in May) you may experience a 'heatwave'. However, it could equally be raining and fairly cold. Light casual clothes I would recommend - no need for a winter coat though!!!! We usually get at least one week of fabulous weather in May - I hope the sunshines for you!!

Hi,

I have been to Paris a few times in the early part of June - one time it was HOT, the other time it was just right - maybe in the 70s.

so, you should have nice weather. can't say about the rain though - but those times I didn't experience any.

On a Paris trip a few years ago, I went over our Memorial Day weekend (end of May) and we had temps in the low 50s and rain every day.
Which just goes to show that an umbrella is always in order, and a light-weight
roll-up-in-a-ball rain coat or rain jacket is always useful to put over at least the one sweater I always take.
With good luck, you won't need it, and you'll be very happy.

Can I expect cool evenings? What temperatures may be likely?
