Help me with honeymoon hotels!

Hello! This is my first time posting, so I hope I'm not too general. I'm getting married in late April and am in the process of planning our honeymoon. We're planning on visiting Florence and Rome, then flying up to London and finally Edinburgh.

I've been trying to find some inexpensive hotels and don't know exactly where to start. I've tried some websites and I thought y'all could help me out. My fiancee and I are on a budget, so any help would be appreciated. We'd don't mind B&B's or 3-star hotels. Any help like recommendations on safe areas, vicinity to transportation, etc. It's the first time for us in Italy but we've both been to London and Edinbugh before (but separately). Thanks!

A fantastic honeymoon destination would be The Witchery on Castle Hill in Edinburgh, It has just one incredibly romantic room above The Witchery/Secret Garden Restaurant, and has views of Edinburgh Castle. Try the restaurant too- it's fab and is frequented by Jack Nichoson and Michael Douglas when they are in town.
