Help me plan my trip

My husband and I will be in Paris for a week in April of 2008.What sites are a must to see? Any day trips suggested? Please help!! Also, any cafes in Paris you can recommend?? Thank you

The must sees are all given in guidebooks. I suggest that you go to your nearest travel boostore and browse to see which guidbook seems to fit your style of traveling.

jojuice: A couple of suggestions to help you get more useful advice . . . .

1) click on DESTINATIONS above and follow the links to Paris. Get an idea of the sorts of things you want to see and then come back w/ more focused questions.

and

2) when you do come back - re-post w/ a better title - at least including Paris. "Help me plan my trip" could be asking about anywhere in Europe.

Hi, there... you can find a LOT of information here b/c Paris is one of the most popular topics... Try entering "Paris" into the search. I know that there was a thread a few weeks ago (or less) about "favorite cafes". Another tip is to enter "daytrip" and then select "France" from the drop-down list, then the search (or go or whatever the button says).

This site (fodors.com) has a "Destinations" section, so you can use that as a loose guide to start with.
