Mimi mimi mimi! Hope you're right, because you're the 500th poster! That would be double the jackpot, I think!

cmt....

Of course I don't mind new people joining in! I love word games and this crossword puzzle has been soooo much fun. I love that we've had to start a second thread, too, lol. I'm playing both threads, and learning so much.

Lots of great minds surfing Fodors and I feel that the more we have, the merrier. (Wonder if any of the Fodors staff are playing, as well? That would be a hoot.)

Based on Yahoo sitings, that would have to be the one! It's mountainous, traditional, and some ancient dialect is still spoken. Sheesh, I once had a top-ten list of favorite places to go, but thanks to these clues my outlook has expanded. I can just see us all in the obscure corners of the world, clutching our Fodors, saying to each other, "well, I hadn't ever thought I'd go here, but you see, there was this crossword puzzle in Fodors...."

OK, building on the O...

Two words, 12 letters in all. The O is the sixth letter.

Clue: Ornithological creature meets body of water affected by gravity, in a country that is NW of a famous group of stones.

I love learning new words, too, and that's a great one.

But I'm referring to a place.

Apart from it having no "O", Swansea Wales fits the clue doesn't it?

Well the answer is something like "Swallow Falls" or "Sparrow Falls" or "Shrike Rapids" or "Canary Rapids" and it's conceivably in Wales which is NW of Stonehenge, or Libya which is NNNNW-ish of the pyramids - - - -

That's the best I can come up with.
Together with being "sur le chemin droit" with a previous question that should get me a Brownie point, n'est ce pas?

It's a specific spot, in Wales.

You got it, harzer! Swallow Falls.

One Brownie (who needs points when you already have the Brownie?) on its way.

BR--your recipe is posted on Krispy Kreme site. Better than brownies.
