HI everyone,

I"m in Venice trying to get my garmin 350 to work. I'm going to drive to Lake GArda tomorrow. I put the italy/greece SD card in. I enter destination and it says not enough memory. I bought a 1 gb sd card and at an internet store, tried to download my italy maps to this card. When I enter the new card it, it wont unlock the maps i tried to copy. I understand there are copywrite issues. Has anyone encountered this problem, how did you fix it?

Natalie, Forget the Garmin and print out a routing from www.viamichelin.com. It is not complex. Have fun on Garda !

In my Garmin iQue3600 handheld, there was an map unlocking procedure but it was performed on my PC, before downloading to the handheld. I'm not sure whether this procedure relates at all to your device. You might try Garmin's customer service department (1-800-800-1020) or e-mail ([email protected]). Good luck. Gradyghost

garmin was closed for the us holiday and i finally spoke to someone, it was simply a software error which was fixed online using their update link. i do have a map as backup of course! but im happy to have my garmin working properly
