Help - Hotels in Rome
Hello - I'm planning a trip to Rome (August 7-14) and usually rent accommodations. As I will only be there for 6 nights I'm looking at hotel rooms - has anyone stayed at the following - are they close to the main attractions - I'm a walker and am comfortable taking subways and trains. Thanks in advance for your help!

You will get better replies by asking an open question rather than specific hotels. How did you find these hotels?

ajak,
I don't think your list of hotels are very well located. Any of the ones Bob the Navigator listed are much better choices.
A luxury 5 star addition to his list would be the St. George- http://www.stgeorgehotel.it/

Not sure what your budget is, but Hotel Sistina in Rome is fantastic. I am staying there (for the second time) in July. I got a great rate, and its very close to the Spanish Steps... within walking distance to almost everything. http://www.leonardihotels.com/Sistina/index.jsp

Hello - thank you for the responses. Sorry my email was not very clear - I usually rent my own accommodations and prefer apartments over hotel rooms but the hotels that I listed are a package deal (flight & hotel) - I thought I might go that route as the price was very good (now I know why!!)
Will look into booking my own flight and apartment. Thanks again!
