Hi
You can try searching on this message board for each of those hotels by name, and also look for comments at
www.paris.org

I stayed at Relais du Louvre in 1995. It was very nice, the staff was reasonably friendly. There was a hair dryer in the room and a great view of the church across the street (gargolyes). You could also see the Louvre. However, I did not really like the location as the strolling in that general area did not include much in the way of shops, cafes, etc.

Grand Hotel de Champagne is small and close to the Louvre and St Chapelle.
St Louis Marais is only 15 rooms. No elevator.
Hotel Beaumarchais is lovely! Fireplace in the winter.Very nice rooms. My favorite on your list.Nicole

Nic are you thinking about the Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais or the Hotel Beaumarchais? Both are quite different. The Caron de Beaumarchais is warm and cozy, The Hotel Beaumarchais is sleek and funky moderne!

I have stayed at Relais de Louvre and am going back for a week in May. My parents have stayed there three times. I found the location to be really convenient -- between 2 metros. The Louvre is right there and Pont Neuf is 2 short blocks away. I thought the staff was very pleasant and look forward to seeing them again.

I have stayed at the Grand Hotel Jeanne d'Arc in the Marais 3 times and it is lovely. On the #1 line (metro stop St. Paul) and very convenient. Wonderful neighborhood. Easy walk to Ile St. Louis and Ile de la Cite.

Have been at Grand Hotel de Champagne, since 1969 - not too old-. It is a nice hotel, near Place de Chatelet, Rue du Rivoli, Louvre, etc. In 1999 have paid US$100.00 for two- today it is around US$140.00. You can walk from there to almost all Paris.
Will be in Paris in May-23 to 29- haven't yet decided if I'm going to stay at Ibis Hotel Cambronne or Champs.
de Mars. have a nice trip.
