As I mentioned on your other thread, we had a great lunch at Hotel Agnello d'Oro, and the delightful hostess showed us hotel rooms. We wished we had time to stay there. You don't say where you're going from there or how much time you'd have (what time would you arrive in either town, and what time would you have to leave?), which could help make up your mind. If you went to Bellagio for the night and it was cold and dreary (which it easily could be in March) it would seem a lot of effort to get there for nothing -- as opposed to Bergamo which is fine in any weather. Just a thought.

I loved Bergamo. I was there for about 10 hours as a long day trip the day before flying back home in early March three years ago. It was so beautiful that it was hard to me to tear myself away and go back to Milan for the night. I would definitely like to stay overnight in Bergamo some day.

I'm just wondering about staying at the Agnello d'oro - do you have a website for this hotel? Thanks
