Heathrow terminal 5
I want to get from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Victoria - what is the easiest way - am not able to do a lot of steps so am thinking National Coach would be the most comfortable - is there a coach that does this?
Or the Underground???
Many thanks!

It does depend a bit on where in Victoria you want to go to, the bus station, the train station etc.
Do you have a likely time of arrival, for instance the 402 of national express does it daily.
National Coach does not exist, the name you need is "National Express"
The tube runs roughly every 5 minutes but you have to change.
Where are you going onto as there me be coach routes from Heathrow?

I always take the Underground. If you change at Hammersmith, there are no steps. You just cross the platform and get on the next District Line, which will take you directly to Victoria station.
Victoria station itself was't entirely step-free when I was last there, but there was an escalator for part of the way, and not many steps to navigate. Station upgrade work is ongoing, so I can't say exactly what the situation is now.

The actual address is 1 Telford Terrace - Grosvenor Square SW1v 3Ae (not far from Pimlico) and Brit friends tell me they walk from Victoria, but with my bag, I am unable to do that - I was thinking that if there is an easy coach on National Express from Terminal 5 to Victoria, I could then get a taxi for the 10 min ride to Telford terrace.
Thanks again!

Thanksgiving Day in Britain is celebrated on July 4
SW1V 3AE is a serious schlep from both the coach station in Buckingham Palace Rd, and from the tube/railway station (main exits around Terminus Place). It's miles (literally) from Grosvenor Square, but close to the completely different Grosvenor Rd.
There's no way of getting out of Victoria tube without steps. From your brief, I'd get a prebooked car (£30-£40) from the airport: search here for co's like justairports and its competitors.
Virtually all coaches ostensibly from T5 take you first to the T2-3 central bus station, where you change for a bus into town.
If you're leery of dealing with steps and luggage, but want to keep costs down, this is your best option. There IS a taxi rank at Victoria coach station.

The ONLY way I'd do this in your situation is a car service like justairports.com. Approx. £30. The only other practical option would be the coach and then a taxi. But the car service would be much easier and likely not cost much more.

Uh oh - I goofed - the address is 1 Telford Terrace - Grosvenor ROAD which is a lot closer to Victoria - so does this make a difference - maybe the underground with a change and then onto Victoria Station and a taxi from there???
I know it is just a 20 min walk from Victoria, but I would take a taxi.
Thank you, All!

Nope - doesn't help a bit. Your biggest problem is Victoria station is extremely crowded with lots of stairs. Stairs are bad enough if you can't physically manage your luggage, but CROWDED stairs are worse.
I'd just plan on taking a car service door to door. They'll meet you at arrivals and drop you at your flat and no trekking to the tube or bus station at Heathrow.
