Heathrow or CDG?

Hello all you expert travelers!

A small piece of info from all of you. For a connection to go to Rome, which do you prefer? London or Paris? Last year had a terrible experience in CDG making a connection but hear horror stories about Heathrow also. Can anyone clear this up a bit for me?

Thanks! Kath

There are SO many variables, it depends entirely on the particular connection. Consider the connection time as well as the possibility of changing terminals and price of the ticket. Also airlines, if you have preferences. It usually becomes obvious after all the factors are weighed.

Neither would be my preference and neither is fun (can you get transfers someplace like Amsterdam or Frankfurt?)

But if it must be one of them - and other factors being about equal - I'd use Heathrow.

I concur.

The most important thing to consider is connection time.
