We're meeting my parents at Heathrow airport, but our flights are separated by 2 hours. I'm concerned that my parents will need to retreive their luggage and then will be unable to go back to the gate area and wait at our gate for us to arrive. You clear immigration before you pick up your luggage - I've never tried - but I would be willing to bet that you can't then go back to the gate.<BR><BR>Why don't you just meet at the arrivals point, post customs. They'll be able to track your flights arrival on the screen and will be able to grab a drink or even a shower while they are waiting.

Why not joke around and hold a sign with their name on it (like if you were a limo driver waiting for a customer).

If I recall, there is a place called &quot;Meeting Place&quot; clearly marked. Look on the internet for a map of the airport to be sure. If not, agree to meet at &quot;Left luggage&quot;, or somewhere specific.
