I have contributed several articles in the past for our local paper on the performing arts, and when I mentioned our upcoming trip to Greece to the editor, he asked me to write an article about it, which I plan to do in October. Actually being a travel writer is my dream job.

Yes, I do write about travel for a living and contribute under a pseudonym for this forum because I like to add some of my expertise and I enjoy communicating with fellow travelers. It is indeed a dream job in many ways, but hard to make a living from without some other income. Still, can't complain. I made the choice because I love to travel and I do not regret it at all.

I have been published on several web sites with articles about travel in Europe, ranging from travelouges to advice on planning trips, renting cars trip budgets, and one light hearted piece--" Looking for Northern Italy".

You can find them on these sites, among
others. Some articles are on more than one place --here is a sampling.
www.initaly.com
www.travel-italy.com
www.bootsnall.com
www.expertcentral.com

I'm a freelance writer and have published some travel pieces, mostly in newspaper travel sections: the Chicago Tribune and the Newark Star-Ledger, primarily. (One on Ithaca, NY, that should have run just this weekend in the Star-Ledger, although I'm still trying to get my hands on a hard copy.)
I also had a piece on courier travel published in this month's Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel magazine, and have written for lodging.com.
I'm a newspaper reporter and have contributed several travel articles for our Sunday "magazine" section, thanks to my yen for travel, including 4 stories on the Loire, Spain, Croatia and Geneva. After I return from my next excursion, I plan to write another.
