Have you been to Wamberg (the highest village) in Germany?

If so, tell me about it. Can I get there on public transportation? Thank you, CJ

This was decades ago, and I was walking. I remember being thirsty and hungry and didn't want to walk back all the way. There is a bus line from Kaltenbrunn that will take you back to Garmisch.
Well ist should be there

Thank you, Logos! I'm thinking I can take the Eckbauer lift and walk down. CJ

Down is much better than up ;-). It's about 2 to 3km from Wamberg to the bus stop.
