have 1st week of July off, where should i go?

would like to go outside of US, (not Mexico, and have done Canada). I've been to Paris and Milan. I only have 7 days. I prefer cities and i may be traveling with my friend (female, she'll come in from a diffent part of the US and we'll need to meet up). any suggestions for a good place to go? thanks.

Everyone says to go to Munich. Great for day trips and the temp will not be as hot there as in some of the other countries. I am going the first of June for 9 days and can't wait to get there. Dana

I have read that it is a safe city also but you have to use caution as you already know.

Brussels is a great place for a week. You can go to Brugges, Ghant, Antwerp, etc.

If you don't mind hot weather: Rome
If you do, and like big cities: London
If you like smaller cities that are not too hot (but have a lot to offer) : Amsterdam

I have been to London twice and still haven't seen everything. It would be a great place to go but you don't get that small time quaint British Charm. You may want to head out to the Lake district for a day or two just to get out of the city

Not sure of your age or interests but I might look at Madrid, or the the group of Seville, Cordoba, Malaga.

all will be hot.

Amsterdam and Bruges/Brussels/Luxembourg are cooler

Edinburgh/Glasgow

York/Leeds (fly to manchester and take train perhaps)

Hamburg and visit some of the Hanseatic league

Prague/Vienna

Berlin

London

so many choices
